Marina Bakuntseva - UkraineShe moved to Canada with hope a healthy future for her daughter, away from the after-effects of Chernobyl. They left the Ukraine in 2003. Marina has a Masters degree in Electronics Engineering, a Ph.D. in Physics, and experience in scientific research. After she arrived in Toronto, she took on "survival jobs" but couldn't find work in her field. Then, she gave up sending out resumes, and found her own way of searching. Marina visited three managers in one day and got three job offers - not the right jobs, but it was a start. And she learned to relax: to do yoga, meditation, even sports. You can't search all the time. One day, Marina spotted a job posting, got an interview, and now she has a contract position as a Researcher at the Office of Research & Innovation at Seneca College of Applied Arts and Technology. It's the perfect job for her. She want to stay there a long time.
